Make space
for good work.
Projects, tasks, and files. One clear place for it all.
Open Forge in your browser and focus on what’s next.
No installation needed. Sign in to your workspace.
A place for the plan.
And the beautiful mess before it.
Work doesn’t arrive perfectly organized. Forge gives your ideas, tasks, and projects a little structure, without making you learn a whole new language.
Words you already use.
Tasks. Owners. Goals. Clear by default, with traditional project terms when you want them.
Room to find your rhythm.
See the board, scan a list, or step back to a timeline. The same work, from the angle you need.
Your work, a browser away.
Open Forge on Mac, Windows, or Linux. Sign in to keep your projects close, with nothing to install.
See it your way.
Zoom into the next step.
Or make sense of the bigger picture.
Move tasks from “To do” to “Done” and see where things stand at a glance.
01 / 04A clear place
to move work forward.
Plan a project, find the next task, and keep the files you need close by. The web app brings your everyday work together in one calm workspace.
See what needs doing
Move between boards, lists, and timelines. Keep priorities, owners, and progress in view.
Keep the context close
Add images, PDFs, and documents to projects and tasks. Paste a screenshot right where the work happens.
Pick up in your browser
Sign in to your hosted workspace from another computer. Your projects are there when you return.
Good ideas don’t
wait for the right tab.
Prefer a desktop app? Add Forge for Mac or Windows to get floating Stickies and a local workspace that works offline. Capture a thought while you’re in another app and turn it into a task.
Good to know.
Can I use Forge in my browser?+
Yes. Open the web app and sign in to your hosted workspace. There’s nothing to download or host yourself. Desktop apps are also available for Mac and Windows.
Do I need an account?+
The web app requires sign-in. Access to a workspace may require an invitation from its owner. The desktop app can also be used locally without an account.
What can I do in the web app?+
Organize projects and tasks, use boards, lists, and timelines, and attach images or documents up to 3 MB each. Floating Stickies, offline work, local Git context, and assistant configuration are desktop features.
When would I want the desktop app?+
Choose desktop for offline work, floating Stickies, or local developer tools. You can start with the web app and explore the Mac and Windows downloads whenever those extras fit your workflow. See the download page for supported systems and early-release installation notes.
Can I use familiar project management terms?+
Yes. Forge uses plain words by default, but you can switch to traditional terms such as issues, sprints, and story points in settings.
A little less managing.
A lot more making.
